Unable to set up new device with email activation

I just bought a Roku Premier.  I'm at the Activate your Roku player screen and it wants me to put in my email address.  However, I am unable to arrow down to the space.  The only option I have is back (<).  Has anyone else had this problem?  Please and thanks.  Bets

Can you please clarify the issue you are experiencing? Email addresses should not have a space within them.

I am having the same problem. And cannot figure out how I get to Settings. Does anyone know where that is?
