Roku INSISTS on RE-showing their tiles on my Home screen.  I delete them, but Roku repeatedly RE-shows them on my Home screen!  What a Nuisance !!!!  What an intrusion !! 

-- for example:

"Kids' shows" - we don't have any kids - So I hide this.

"Background" - don't use them, don't want them - So I hide this.

Entertainment suggestions - don't want - So I hide these.

How do I PERMANENTLY hide them?

The ads on your Roku device's home page are usually targeted based on your viewing history and preferences.

Roku does provide some options to control the types of ads that are displayed on your home page. Here are some steps you can take:

• Go to the home screen of your Roku device and select "Settings."
• Scroll down to "Privacy" and select "Advertising."
• Select "Limit ad tracking" to limit the type of ads that are displayed.
• You can also choose to reset your advertising ID, which will clear your viewing history and preferences and start showing you generic ads instead.
• Additionally, you can try enabling "Kid Mode" on your Roku device, which filters out content that is not appropriate for children.

It's also worth noting that some third-party channels may have ads that are not appropriate for children. In these cases, you may want to restrict access to those channels or monitor your child's viewing closely.
