Upgrading from Roku 2 to Ultra

I have a Roku 2 that is 6.5 years old, and am wondering if it is worth it to upgrade to the Ultra.  The input selection on some of the channels is pretty slow at times, and the channels are a bit slow to come up.  I appreciate any advice anyone has to offer.  I have the Roku plugged into an Ethernet port which has a fiber connection.

Re: Upgrading from Roku 2 to Ultra

Any product in the current product line will run rings around any of the old Roku 2 models in terms of responsiveness and ability to run all current channel apps.  I would suggest bypassing the current Express and go at least for the Express 4K or higher model, even if you don't currently have a 4K tv.  They will work fine with non-4K sets, will give you dual band wifi (adding 5 GHz wifi band that can potentially connect at higher speeds than the 10/100 Ethernet adapters used in Rokus), and give some future proofing should you eventually upgrade to a 4K tv.
