Since last night while watching cable, it stops, goes to the room TV screen. With that I had to set up all over again (connecting devices, etc.). I did that four times last night. Today, it has happened three times. What is going on?
Have you tried a complete factory reset on it? If it persists it could be a hardware issue...sounds like it could be related to non-volatile memory (NVRAM) problems with the TV mainboard.
