I'm gonna say it's Kane, in the suit. He was getting samples while Ripley stayed on the ship and then refused to let him back on due to quarantine protocol (although, Dallas over rided her).

What about the control panels below the long window? Lost in Space? Maybe a combo of 2 or 3 panels? I have seen them before.

And the cables with the exposed wires? I think that is something as well.
