Simple switch on and view

My elderly mother has just had to replace her old TV and has had to buy a smart TV - a Sharp Roku TV. It is causing much distress as she is not able simply to switch on and view, without having to go through the rigmarole of choosing the source first. She finds it hard to remember how (despite much coaching and written instructions) and has difficulty navigating with the remote because of vision problems.

She watches TV via a BT box. She does not use apps like Netflix, etc, and simply wants to turn on and view.

Is there any way to do this?

Re: Simple switch on and view

@Umfriend-

You can set the input to be connected when your Roku TV first powers up via: Settings > System > Power > Power on.

You can choose a specific input or have it return to whatever was the last input used.
