I've read the entire community help section when it comes to this but I do not have TV input in my settings, my settings only has remotes and devices and I cannot add an AV input through the remotes and devices only another remote. How do I get my AV input to show up on my home screen? I am using a Roku stick. And it's updated
Your subject line is correct – you have no AV input. TVs have AV inputs. Players have outputs. If you are trying to switch your TV to a different input, use your TV remote for that.
It sounds like you are trying to get your TV's AV input to appear on your Roku player. That is not possible. The AV input will only be available using the TV remote and selecting the input there. Your Roku can only display channels available on the Roku itself.
The only Roku device with an AV input would be a Roku TV, and not all of those have that type of input either. AV (analog) inputs are becoming rare on TVs, as almost everything has moved to HDMI.
