I had this problem on HBOMAX.
Found solutions in the article. The article covers just about everything. My solution was at the very end.

Same here, except mine is just on the paramount app. I’ve even deleted the app and reinstalled but still doing it!!
@Riversk, the "Audio Guide" is now called "Screen Reader" and only reads text on the screen in menus and other UI elements (i.e., not while a video is playing). If you're getting a voice describing the action in a video it's not the Screen Reader. Look for an option to change the audio track.
Posted solutions do not work. Any other ideas? I have tried both.
There are two different things that some people describe as "audio descriptions."
The one describing the action is controlled by the settings within the app or video. The one describing the remote actions is controlled by a device menu setting. If both are on, you need to turn both off if you don't want them.
Which are you experiencing?
One doesn't say anything until the video is playing, then describes the action within the video -- "Elsa turns away from Rick and wipes a tear from her eye."
The other describes the remote control button actions outside the video.
Which do you have?

@m23, it may depend on the app you're using, but while watching a video press * on your remote, go into the "Accessibility & language" settings, and select a different Audio track. If that doesn't do it, the app you're using may have its own settings for audio track. It would help to know what app you're using.
