Sometime yesterday evening the "Continue Watching" is missing from all TV's (3 Roku's and 2 Westinghouse/Roku's) I have done restarts and software is up to date.
Just starting today my continue watching row under what to watch is completely missing. I checked updates and I’m up to date and did a reset and it’s still not there.
Odd thing is, I just looked at the app on my phone and the "Continue Watching" is right there! I really hope Roku brings it back as I just "cut the cable" and my wife has had a hard time adjusting from the simplicity of the cable box, guide and having all channels together.. She's not very tech savvy and just got used to going right to the "Continue Watching".
ROKU: Please bring back the "Continue Watching".
How about if you launch the Roku Channel? Can you see your Continue Watching there?
The Continue Watching does occasionally disappear from the What to Watch section but does reappear in a couple of days (at least in the past). It kind of alternates whether the Save List or Continue Watching is the one to occasionally disappear/reappear.
Yes, it is there, but only for shows watched on the Roku channel. I've only been using Roku for a couple of months, and I believe I have seen it gone, but very briefly.
Some users report they only see the Continue Watching for the Roku Channel content when viewed in the Roku Channel section, but I see both Roku Channel and my other non-Roku Channel content. (same as when I view under What to Watch).
Currently, I am able to see Continue Watching under both these areas. (mine has not disappeared..yet).
I have always just chalked up the missing sections (Save List and Continue Watching) to a synching issue with Roku servers and the devices on some accounts. (an error/glitch on their part), As you indicated, most users can still see it on the mobile app when missing from the device side.
