just got a Sanyo Roku TV. When I tried to activate my roku account ( I have an existing account with a billing credit card ) it says it will send a link. Nothing happens - have tried it several times.

So, you entered the email address that your Roku account uses, right? (don't list it here in public). It has to be your Roku user account email address. I used it last week with a new Ultra and it worked perfectly.
How long has it been? In my case it was instant, but another guy said it took an hour and 45 minutes for the email to arrive.
