Re: TV keeps asking me to set up sound bar

Same here, console games connected thru HDMI give the popup every time they are turned on.

(p.s. I don't think this issue should be marked as solved)

Re: TV keeps asking me to set up sound bar

I considered perhaps it was somehow related to my Xfinity box; nope.  Unplug Xfinity HDMI, reboot Roku TV - same behavior.  This one is really weird!  From the software screen it doesn’t appear that there were any recent updates.  What could it POSSIBLY be?!?

Re: TV keeps asking me to set up sound bar

Same exact issue as everyone here. Working normally for years, then of a week ago Roku TLC TV constantly asks to “set up new device on HDMI 4” when loading up RokuTV Home Screen. There is no new device. It’s the same exact Bose soundbar that was connected every day for months.

It started about one week ago and before that I have not had any issues.

Yes this is an issue they must have caused with an update as we all experience it now

Re: Falsely saying I’ve connected a new device

I see this is marked as solved but I don't see a solution.  This odd behavior started with no apparent cause. The questions remain - What caused this?  What is going to change back to the previous behavior?
