Hello
I am using a soundbar that doesn't have HDMI ARC, but the WiFi Roku remote will not send IR signals if it is paired to the Roku TV
I was wondering if I purchased the Roku® Standard IR Remote from the Roku accessories store if it would work with my Roku TV (which does have IR fallback)

Hi,
Thanks for letting us know about the issue that you are experiencing.
If you are looking for a replacement remote for your Roku TV, you would need to contact your TV manufacturer. You can reach TCL here: https://support.tclusa.com/
You can also order a replacement remote that is compatible with your TV on the Roku TV Accessory page here: Roku TV™ Accessories
Happy Streaming!
Danny
Supposedly there's secret menu that has feature to unpair all RF remotes, once done your oem remote will start communicating via IR to TV. No need to get another remote.
@Tivoburkee how do I do this? This would solve my problem
Did you end up fixing this? If so, how? I’m having the same issue.
Unfortunately I was not able to fix - still using original wifi remote
You can purchase Roku tv IR remotes off of ebay for about $10 or even less. TCL roku tv use that same IR code as Insignia, onn, magnavox, philips, element, haier, hitachi, sanyo, jvc, and westinghouse Roku tv's do. You can tell its IR roku tv remote by the power key and crescent moon key where the microphone key is on wifi roku remotes. For a TCL tv stay away from Hisense & Sharp Roku tv remotes.
