Spotify - Audio Popping noise Via optical cable

I have TCL Roku TV - A119X

and TCL model 55S535-CA.

I have my bookshelf speakers connected to the TV via optical cable

and Audio Settings set to 'Stereo'. Whenever I try playing music via Spotify I hear Popping/crackling noise in speakers. This does not happen with any other app. I have already updated the TV to latest version i.e. 10.0.0

Please assist.

Re: Spotify - Audio Popping noise Via optical cable

Sorry for bumping into an old conversation. Firstly, double-check that your optical cable is securely connected on both ends. If that's fine, try changing the Audio Settings on your TCL Roku TV from 'Stereo' to 'PCM.' This can sometimes resolve compatibility issues. If the issue persists, you can try a different optical cable to rule out cable-related problems. I love Spotify, and I even buy Spotify plays for my music. I hope you'll be able to enjoy it soon!
