Sound stopped unexpectingly from TCL soundbar, no CEC device

We have an Element Roku TV SN: HB221102C70000227.  It is currently running on software update 12.5.5 build 4174.  Our TCL soundbar model TS6110 has been working issue free for 14 months.   

Recently, the sound output stopped.  We tried system update with no luck.  We tried the sound bar on another TV and it works.

We did discover that trying a new setup, the TV doesn’t recognize the soundbar as a CEC device (greyed out). Going to HDMI eARC in settings, TV reports it is getting no signal.
