Please help, my Roku Onn tv us using all my data and no way to change display
I've literally tried everything, and before the Roku team jumps in and suggests the Bandwith Saver. No that isn't going to work. I use this TV 24/7 and it uses 5TB a month. It takes up so much data that even with unlimited I still hit a TB wall that causes my Internet to be throttled for weeks sometimes. I DO NOT have the display type option and can't seem to change the resolution at all ( which is stupid). But I need help, I've loved my Roku otherwise but I'm about to take it put shooting and it won't be coming back. Any advice on how to lower my resolution or stop my TV from using 5TB a month would be great. And like I said the bandwidth saver isn't an option that just turns the TV off. I need this fixed so it doesn't suck all my data while it's running

Re: Please help, my Roku Onn tv us using all my data and no way to change display
Some services have settings on their websites that affect the maximum bitrate they'll give you, so you might start there. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is connecting a Roku device to your TV and adjusting its display type to 720p since you can't do it on a Roku TV.
If you're just looking for something to be on 24/7, you might want to try an antenna to see what you can pick up. It won't use any data.
