My husband recently bought a TV listed above write about Thanksgiving. Today the TV start shutting off by itself and will turn back on and then shuts back off we tried to unplug it turn it back on it stayed on but then it wouldn't change the channel has anybody had any problems with these TVs

Have you tried contacting Onn support yet to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support for their products running the Roku OS.
