Does the HDMI audio extractor support ARC/eARC and is it connected to the ARC/eARC port? When I search for "Avedio HDMI audio extractor" I see one version that does and one that doesn't.
There may be a setting to enable the optical output, but I don't know about that. It may be always active. I know there's settings for the output format under the Audio settings that you may want to play with.
