I do not have a sound bar.  I have a new ROKU and a new TV.

There is a robotic voice that interrupts any program and announces everything I can see, and miss any dialogue or speech in the program.  I want the robotic voice to turn off, i.e., shut up.

We're glad to assist you with turning off the audio guide or audio screen reader on your Roku device. Please be advised that Roku streaming devices include a text-to-speech screen reader that helps users navigate the Roku interface and on-screen menus. When the screen reader is activated, the text, menu items, and other on-screen dialog are read aloud. The screen reader can be turned on or off by pressing the star (*) on the Roku remote four times quickly. You can also customize your screen reader experience by going to Settings, then Accessibility, and then Screen Reader. You will see an option to turn it on or off.
