US politics is especially divisive at the moment. I cut the cable and went with Roku because I’d hoped to escape the awful ads. My family and I were enjoying the Great American Baking Show when a particularly hateful attack ad for a local candidate came up multiple times throughout the show. This killed the vibe we enjoy when we watch Bake Off.
Regardless of political party, let us have moments of peace. Please make Roku channels—or at least family shows—political ad-free zones.
