My Roku Turns off my TV after it’s been updated

My Roku did an automatic update this morning and now it turns on and off every time I try to switch screens. I have tried disconnecting all cords and power to the Roku and tv but nothing has changed. Really need some help getting it to stop. It has worked for us for over a year on the same TV and now with this update it won’t work.

Can you expand on what you mean by "switch screens"?
