Home Screen moving apps where I want them?

Highlight the icon on your Home Screen and press * on your remote.  There will be options to move it.  You have to do them one at a time.  Roku was experimenting with an automatic arrangement of icons on what they thought you'd like (or more precisely, what they wanted to force in your face), but hopefully they've abandoned that stupid idea.  There was a setting under Settings->Home screen for it, but I don't see it on my Roku device anymore.
