I need your input! I have an old TV (not a smart TV) and an old Roku. Roku is telling me to remove some apps to free up space. This happened about a month ago, and now happened again. I have removed down to only 5 apps remaining. It finally loaded the app I wanted to watch. I am not a tech person. Is my TV too old? Is my Roku too old? Any ideas?

Hi @maryamarvin,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
In addition, @JWS9518. Low-memory messages may also occur because your Roku device lacks the required storage space to store and install apps. Removing other apps from your Roku device can free up space. Refer to instructions on how to remove apps from your Roku streaming device.
- Tip: If your Roku streaming device has a micro SD card slot, you can expand the memory available for installing apps.
Hope you'll find this info useful.

Re: Error message - not enough space
It's not your TV. What's the model number of the Roku device as displayed under Settings->System->About?

Re: Error message - not enough space
As Renojim asked, what is the model of Roku you have? You could try unplugging the power to the Roku for 60 seconds and see if that helps, however, depending on the age of the device, its memory might be going bad. If you have a model that can use an external memory card, you can replace the card, but if it is one that uses internal memory only, then you might need to replace the device if a system restart or unplugging power doesn't help.
