Do I need cable service for Roku TV

Do I still need my cable TV service if I get Roku. I have Xfinity.

Absolutely not!  Some apps require some kind of cable provider for activation, but the vast majority do not.  If you want to receiver your local antenna channels, you'll have to either connect an antenna to your Roku TV or get a paid cable or streaming service that provides them.
