Roku's kind of lost it lately, gotten arrogant I guess. "Features" I don't want but can't turn off (especially continue watching), turning the channel store into a Roku channel store, replacing my them with advertising, and I just found out exactly the depths of how much they track you and spam your personal information to anyone willing to pay.
So I reset the TV then pulled the Ethernet cable and WIFI. Then I hooked up a cheap streaming box that's not nearly as obnoxious.
I've had probably 10 TCL/Roku TV's over the last few years, I'll never buy another one or let Roku back on any of the ones we've got. They used to be a decent company but I think success doesn't fit well on them, they think they can do whatever they please now.
