Can the smart soundbar keep playing shows or music from apps like Netflix or Pandora even if I turn off the TV after I start playing them?
I like to fall asleep to shows or playlists but would like to turn off the TV to keep the room dark. But most HDMI soundbars turn off or go to sleep as soon as you turn off the TV.
As does the Roku soundbar, sorry.
OK thanks for the info!
What about using the soundbar as a bluetooth speaker, like from my phone? I assume I could pair it and stream Spotify or Pandora to it that way.
Can the TV be off then? Or is the soundbar completely non-functional when the TV is off?
Why is it that no "expert" can answer this? Or other electronic geniuses solve the initial question, whether it be a software update or something? Ridiculous!
Thanks for the inquiry.
We would recommend checking out the information about how to use the Roku Soundbar on our Support page here: How do I listen to music when the screen on my Roku TV™ is off?
