Can I connect my Roku express remote to my other Roku smartTV?

The TV i was using my Roku express for is broken - is there a way to use that remote control for my regular Roku TV? The remote for my Roku TV broke last year and I’ve been using the app but since I have this extra remote laying around until I get a new TV to re-connect my express to, I was wondering if I could somehow pair the express remote or the roku TV I have.

Only Roku Voice remotes work with Roku TVs.  Otherwise you either have to get a remote from the TV's manufacturer or get a universal remote.  Many inexpensive universal remotes support Roku TVs.
