Audio on Classic Doctor Who channel?

Has anyone noticed the poor audio on the Roku Channel's Classic Doctor Who channel? When viewed through my Roku Ultra this channel has the unpleasant metallic ringing artifacts of an extremely low bitrate MP3 encode. The old Xing MP3 encoder from the mid 1990s comes to my mind.

I haven't found any mentions of this in my web searches. Which is surprising as this sounds so bad that I usually can't manage to watch the channel.

This doesn't affect Pluto TV's version of this channel. The two channels seem to share the same name but have different program schedules.

Really I'm just wondering if this issue is specific to my system.

Re: Audio on Classic Doctor Who channel?

Hi @bhireg0,

A warm welcome here in the Roku Community!

We're glad to assist you with your problem with your audio on Classic Doctor Who. Do you have any other devices connected to your TV? (e.g., speakers and other sound systems). Can you please check the volume level and mute settings on your TV using your remote? You can check out this link here for details on how to adjust and use volume modes on your Roku Ultra so you can adjust it to your liking.

Let us know if this works.
All the best,
Eunice
