43" Sanyo ROKU TV 'Not Connected' No Remote

I have a 43" Sanyo ROKU TV which has been connected to my WiFi at home and has worked perfectly since I bought it a year ago.

Two days ago, my internet dropped (it happens Rogers - Canada) and although every other device (except one Amazon Echo) connected seamlessly once the internet was backup, the ROKU TV did not.  It has always reconnected previously.

The Amazon Echo was re set up no problem.  The TV not so much.  The remote was lost a month after purchase (six kids and my wife babysits 4 more).  We all have the ROKU app on our phones/tablets/ipods so the lost remote has never been an issue until now.

When I turn the TV on with the manual button on the side, the screen says 'not connected' on the top right.  The ROKU app on my phone can't find the device (as the TV is not connected to the WiFi).

How can I force the TV to connect to the WiFi without the remote?

The SSID and password for the WiFi has not changed in four years.

I have tried the whole 'mobile hotspot' trick from a google search but the issue isn't with the WiFi at home.  It is fine.  
I have tried just unplugging the tv and letting it sit for a few hours, hoping it might automatically reconnect when powered back on, but no luck.

Any suggestions?  Thanks.

http://www.sanyo-av.com/ca/support/contact-parts-f.php is the Canadian support site that offers a link to accessories. I'd recommend giving them a call directly for more hands-on assistance, if you have further need.

"How can I force the TV to connect to the WiFi without the remote?"   You can't. Yes, it should have reconnected if the SSID and password hadn't changed. But since it didn't, the only way to reconnect it is with a Roku remote. Most all of the TVs support an IR remote, so you might be able to get a generic IR remote that lists Roku code support. Or borrow someone else's Roku remote.

As a quick point of clarification, Roku Streaming Players and Roku TVs use different IR remote codes for IR functionality. You'll need to use a Roku TV remote or corresponding IR code. 

Your TV manufacturer can assist with an official replacement remote if you need one, or you can check out our accessories page here: https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/roku-tv

Thanks for the reply but the Roku accessory page link does not work.  It just goes to the Canada main page at https://www.roku.com/en-ca/ by default. (I mentioned in my original post that I am in Canada).  The Canadian website does not seem to have an accessory page.  Is there another link?

No, we do not currently offer an Accessories store in Canada. You'll want to contact your TV manufacturer in that case.

I followed the link you provided, switched over to the Sanyo Canada version, and selected their accessories page.  It is the official supplier for Sanyo in North America.  As long as your North America only includes the continental 48 US States.
Does anyone know where to buy a replacement remote for a Sanyo Roku TV Remote (for tv FW43R48FC) in Canada?  Best Buy/The Source/Walmart do not carry them.

Found one on eBay. Also on www.remotes.com

eBay was $4 cheaper.

Now I just have to wait a month for delivery and hope that I can still fix the connecting problem!

You don't have an old cable remote lying around? Roku TV's use very old code sets that is probably found in any remote that can be programmed for TV's.
