Assuming you're subscribing to Hulu+Live TV.
Here's the bad news. That's Hulu causing it. Be aware that there is commonly a delay between live streaming and watching on cable or listening on radio. However, 5-7 minutes is ridiculous.
Here's the good news. You maybe be able to fix, or at least alleviate somewhat, the problem if you restart the Roku. That would probably clear out anything messing up the Hulu buffer, if that's the cause. Then, launch Hulu and see how close to real world the stream is.
