I just asked the same question season 1 through 5 was on peacock Roku now says it's on Paramount Plus but its 6 missing
On my home screen to the right of my apps the giant box listing movies that are now available is where Roku listed Yellowstone availability on Paramount Plus not Paramount
Look very carefully to make sure. They both have identical logos, but one says Network in small letters underneath. If possible, take a picture and post it here.
That said, some advertising could be farmed out to 3rd parties, and maybe they made a mistake. Some dolls for the movie Wicked have the wrong URL for a website (wicked instead of wickedmovie), and that leads to a web site of a movie company that makes "adult" movies.
What now is being released is not season 6. It is a continuation of season 5, whose production was interrupted two years ago by Covid 19.
When Yellowstone first began a few years ago it went to Paramount Network, Paramount's cable/satellite service. The Paramount Plus streaming service did not yet exist and streaming rights were assigned to NBC's Peacock.
Peacock, not Paramount Plus, still gets Yellowstone for streaming, several months after being released on Paramount Network. Peacock still has everything through season 5 episode 8, i.e. everything released before the Covid shutdown. It will receive the remaining new episodes in several months.
There no longer is a separate streaming app for viewing Paramount Network cable/satellite service on streaming platforms like Roku. You can still view Paramount Network via several paid streaming services which carry cable-type channels, such as YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, etc.
CBS/Universal did release the first post-Covid episode on CBS broadcast.stations two hours after it appeared on Paramount Network, but that was reportedly just a single episode promotion for the ensuing Paramount Network cable release of the remaining episodes
I also recently seen ads saying it was available on peacock too. and it isn't.
Yellowstone is on Peacock, but not the latest episodes. Supposedly, they will show up in about 6 months due to the streaming deal the original production company made.
And again, there is no Season 6. There are/will be 6 episodes to close out Season 5, and the series.

Streaming
NBCUniversal's Peacock acquired the U.S. streaming rights to Yellowstone in 2020, with the first two seasons debuting in July of that year.[59] Paramount Global President and CEO Bob Bakish have since called the timing of the deal "unfortunate", due to the show's improved reception, viewership, and popularity in its later seasons. Critics have noted that Yellowstone's absence from Paramount's own, similarly named streaming service, Paramount+ (in-spite of the show's spin-offs being produced for the service), in addition to current seasons previously being available on Paramount Network's app and website primarily through TV Everywhere (requiring a paid television subscription), have caused confusion among viewers and the show's fans on social media.[60][61]
