Same problem here - very frustrating
Same here. Has anyone solved this issue yet?
Im having the same issue with two of My Roku's.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Yep, same here. Just started last night (Nov. 20, 2024). I can maneuver between streaming channels/Roku shows just fine, but when watching something via the antenna and then try to change to another antenna channel, it continues to show the first station .... even though the ribbon shows it changed! The only way I've gotten it to work is to actually do a hard reset of the whole TV (tried numerous other ways) - which is a pain and time consuming - and then it only works for a short period of time. Once I turn off the TV, and then on again later, it starts happening again. VERY frustrating. About to buy a new TV ... and not Hisense/Roku.
ROKU TV wont change channel on local over the air broadcast channels
this has been discussed for YEARS eg:
I do not use a USB so that solution does not work for me and there has not been a solution from ROKU even though this is a years old unsolved problem
ROKU is terrible they create their own problems and then leave it on users to be frustrated. how can this be a problem for years and there is no solution. ROKU sucks
Im on with support now they cant figure it out either did the same things i did, and then says were sending u to a higher level of support?????
I have the same exact problem but I have 4 TCL Roku TVs. At about 5pm eastern time yesterday, the three newest TVs exhibited the same problem, my 10 yr old one was working properly until today, it too had the same problem. My fix so far was to perform a full factory reset. The oldest tv is now working properly. Yes it was a pain but it has been working fine for the last four hours. I have just completed a full factory reset on the second oldest TCL 55 series and it now is working properly, even after a power off and back on. I guess I will do the same to the others.
well i just wasted an hour of my day still no answers from roku
They insist its an antenna problem
Why is Roku customer service never any help? It's NOT "an antenna" problem. The antenna and the cable are just fine, obviously, if so many people are suddenly having the exact same problem at the same time. Duh.
I have 4 Roku tv on different antennas doing the exact same thing. Maybe someone with media connections needs to know. Developers always assume its the consumers fault, when it was their glitchy update.
