Selling my Roku 3 suggestions

Since I have a TCL Roku TV, I no longer need my Roku 3. Do I need to do anything else to it besides removing my SD card?

Factory reset it from Settings->System->Advanced system settings and unlink it from your account at https://my.roku.com .
