My Roku was working fine earlier. I turned it off and came back turn the TV on and my Roku will not respond to any remote. It has a screensaver and it has a blue light and it still is not changing the screen.

First of all the issue started yesterday evening. Earlier yesterday my Roku was working just fine though. And when I first turned on my TV, the Roku turned on with it. It was on the home screen and the blue light was on. When I tried to change channels, my Roku was not responding so I changed my batteries out of my remote to brand new batteries. And then I still couldn't get it to work so I went to my cell phone Roku remote that has always worked also and it did not even find the Roku at which point it had gone to the screensaver on the Roku itself on the TV. But the Roku was not responding to any remotes. I have unplugged it and used a different Roku that my sister had and it's a newer version. I would still like to get my old Roku working if you have any idea.
The issue started yesterday evening. I was able to use my Roku earlier in the morning and it worked fine. When I turned on my TV in the evening the Roku turned on with my TV . But on the home screen no remote I had would work to include my cell phone remote . I changed the batteries on the remotes to new batteries . By the time I tried my cell phone it had gone to the screensaver mode and I couldn't change it still. I also did unplug the Roku and plug it directly into a power supply. I unplugged it for several minutes to let the Roku restart or reset if you will. I'm not sure what else I could do to try to troubleshoot based on what I found online
Thanks for elaborating on this concern, @Madmatt787.
May we know what specific remote this is? Also, have you tried performing a hard reset on your Roku device by clicking the reset button until the device shuts off? Lastly, have you made any recent changes to your network?
Please keep us posted so we can continue assisting.
