Leveling helped tremendously but audio is still lower than other channels. Workable
Thank you all for the information. I agree that the “Leveling” setting improved the volume issue, but it is still noticeably lower than any other App on my Roku
I've had the same issue, and even turning the volume way up doesnt sound quite right. Im usually trying ro watch news or sports, and I've found that for live sports or news, the volume is fine on the NBC Sports app and NBC News app (and there are some local NBC news apps that are probably fine too, NBC News 4 New York app is fine).
@RokuDanny-R I have been following this thread for a while, and opened my own ROKU Customer Service Ticket and did all the checks/re-starts you can do, and it will not fix it. While I can see why the culprit is most likely NBC and their App, there is one detail that points to it being a ROKU-issue, and that is the fact that (at least for me), the NBC App live tv broadcasts only have the low-volume audio issue on my ROKU Streambar, and not my older ROKU-2. So, something ROKU did in improving it's technology is not compatible with NBC's app.
I have brand new Roku TV and I have the same issue… all my other apps are perfectly fine… but when I stream live TV on the NBC app I have to have it on 100… and it still isn’t even that loud. Super weird & kind of annoying… but good to know it must just be the NBC apps problem. Hopefully they fix that soon!
So funny. Peacock volume is fine. Seems like only app from nbc is problem. Pay a little more and they fix it. #@!%&
After a couple of years with this volume issue it looks like the NBC app makers finally fixed the volume issue Saturday (1-14-23). For the first time in almost 3 years I did not have to turn up my volume to hear the content.
