Earth Abides episode 5 is not showing on MGM+ on Roku app

MGM released two episodes today, but only episode 4 is showing on the MGM+ on Roku app. It should be episodes 4 and 5.

I was hoping Episode 5 would be corrected and made available to us when Episode 6 released, however, E06 released and is available, yet E05 is still missing. What a peculiar thing to happen! We don't want to watch E06 until we've seen E05. 

For those who may be interested: Amazon Prime Video has a limited time offer thru January 2nd to subscribe to MGM+ on their platform for $1.99/month for 2 months. All episodes of Earth Abides are available there. Subscribing directly with MGM+ has a 7-Day free trail for new customers and then the regular price is $6.99/month.

    12/29, 8:16 eastern time and episode 5 is still missing. Roku, I expect better!

    coco72ark ... But we've already PAID Roku, right? Care to share your login, so we can all catch up? I'll even pitch in a few cents. lol


    In the meantime, I definitely see ::: episode 6 ::: but as of 3:34 pm ET on 12/29/2024, ::: episode 5 ::: is still missing. In fact, a similar thing happened in the Max app too. Are you hiring QA testers or whatever the role is called that verifies episodes upload correctly? lol

    As stated in another thread about this, the agreement that Roku has with MGM to provide MGM content is what controls the content available and when. MGM is passing the buck, as they are the ones that dictate when new content is available on different streaming platforms. Yes, the best way to subscribe to content is directly with the provider, not through a 3rd party. Neither side likes to mention possible limitations like this, but it's almost always done because that's what the provider wants. If Roku didn't accept the MGM terms, then they couldn't offer any content at all from MGM. So it's better to offer most content instead of none.

    MGM+ also has the holiday offer of $1.99/month for 2 months available at their online website (without a free trial) until 2 JAN.
