So the PBS app is working but cannot be displayed on the main Roku menu. I have to search for it, when found it is listed as downloaded but can only be found (and used) via the search function. Thoughts?
This issue has been reported multiple times for multiple apps. I don't know what the issue is, but it seems that it will eventually show up. You can try checking for a "Software update" and/or a "System restart" from Settings->System, but it will probably just resolve itself eventually.
The PBS channel is installed on 2 ROKUs. However, it only appears on 1 ROKU home screen.
It actually is installed on the ROKU where it's not on the Home Screen. However, it's inconvenient to have to Search for the channel in order to play it.
I would like for it to be on both ROKU Home Screens. Shouldn't that be possible?
I am having a very similar issue on two existing Rokus.
I just added a RokuTV. All my existing apps came over and show on the home screen. In the process of setting the new Roku TV up, I added two new apps.
On my existing two Rokus (one is a 4k stick, the other an Ultra), I do not see the new apps. They show installed and I can get them with search, but nothing on the home screen. I can not remove and re-add them.
This is obviously some sort of bug that Roku is failing to address. I assume a reset will add the new apps, but doing a factory reset on each device is not an acceptable solution.
Please pass this thread to the developers. This bug needs to be addressed.
Yikes! Not helpful at all!
Same issue.
I used to have the app on the Home Screen but had to uninstall and reinstall and now it won’t show even though I keep adding it.
I can only find it in the search.
Same here. The YouTube TV app only shows in channel search. The app is installed, and there is no way to uninstall it - the web Roku channel store just lets me see details as it’s actually installed.
On the Roku itself, I can only launch the app by searching for “YouTube TV”, which gives me an option to open it, not to uninstall/install it.
I’ve tried multiple reboots. I’ve tried deleting other Home Screen apps I don’t use to see if that refreshes the Home Screen. Neither worked. Next I’ll probably try a factory reset, I just don’t want to sign in to every app I have if I can avoid that step.
I have been using Roku devices for many years, and know my way around them. One of the devices is a Roku 24" TV. Starting last night, I am unable to add the Xfinity Stream app to the home screen of the 24" Roku TV. It was there previously, I deleted it as was having issues, and decided to remove and reinstall the Xfinity Steam app. It opens in the Search area, however does not populate to the Home Screen. Cannot find anyway to move it to the Home Screen
It is showing on the Home Screen of our Roku device TVs. I have rebooted the 24" Roku TV several times without success. There are only eight (8) apps on the Home Screen of the 24" Roku TV.
Not happy wasting all of this time!
Xfinity Stream app suddenly appeared on my Home Screen without doing anything additional. Totally lost on this. Main thing is that it appeared!
Disney plus seems to be acting weird it has disappeared off my home screen can uninstall it only way to pull it up is to search anyone know how to fix this
