YouTube not loading on express+

YouTube can’t run because there isn’t enough space,  I deleted the app restarted the device(roku Express+). I still get this same message. So I did factory restore with no success. I see other people are having issues. No problem before the last update. Please fic

YouTube not loading on express+

Don’t know how to edit other post so wanted to give more details. I deleted the app restarted the device reinstalled the app. This did not work. I factory reset this did work till I went to another app then went back to YouTube didn’t not work only got the same message about not enough space. The software version is 9.3.0. I have no issues with any other apps.

To edit a post in this forum, you must be logged in and click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner of the post, then click Edit Post.  But if you don't want to edit, you can always just reply to your own post to add additional information.  To keep everything together it's best not to spread the conversation over several different threads.

We're seeing other reports of problems with YouTube right now.  If you removed/reset device/reinstalled the app then you have the latest version of the channel.  The channel apps are created and maintained by the channels themselves, so that's who you need to contact for help.

Thanks for the post.

How many channels do you currently have installed? We would recommend removing any unused channels from your device, then trying to perform a factory reset on your device. Then once your device is setup again, try adding the Youtube channel to your device to see if the issue is resolved.

I am running into this SAME issue too on my Roku Express+ 3910 when trying to view YouTube (get error message "Can't run channel" "... not enough space...") along with Apple TV not loading (will load to 100% and then return to the Home screen without loading).

I removed YouTube, restarted my Roku device, and then reinstalled YouTube, but same issue still exists. I also made sure I am using the Default Theme pack.

Please, please Roku try to fix this huge and VERY annoying issue and please work with Google too if the issue is with their YouTube channel code!! 

And if this is not a bug in RokuOS, then when the "Can't run channel" message appears, instead of only giving the "OK" choice, please also give a choice to view which channels are taking up most of the space so we can try to focus on removing those channels.  Thanks!

Please do not keep ignoring this issue, Roku, and please STOP blaming the user -- you, Roku, are ultimately responsible for the user experience.
