Spectrum app not allowing me to watch all channels on Roku Streaming Stick

I have several Roku devices.  All are connected to my Internet via Charter.  The Roku Streaming Stick is the only one that is not allowing me to watch all available channels in my package.  I can watch some channels but I get a message that says Connect to your home Spectrum Internet for full access when I try to watch other channels.  Well....I am connected to my Spectrum Internet.  I reset my Internet modem and unplugged the Roku Streaming Stick but I still have the same issue.  The fact that this only happens with the Stick makes me think it's a Roku issue and not Spectrum as my other devices show all channels as expected. Do not buy the Stick if you want to use the Spectrum app.

I was getting the same message  when trying to use  the Spectrum app “connect to home Spectrum internet for full access” using the Roku Ultra and Premier, I was missing many channels and it had a little symbol of a home next to all of the missing channels.  I unplugged the power to the modem and disconnected the cable line, unplugged the wireless router, and waited about 1 minute. Then I connected the cable line to the back of the modem, plugged in the power cord and waited for it to get all of the lights back on. After that was done I plugged in the wireless router and waited for that to light up. Next I turned on the Roku and the Spectrum app, everything worked normally again, the home symbol was gone and it showed the channel number.

Thank you. Resetting modem (as you suggested) worked for me too.

I had the same issue last night and finally after 2 hours i decided to uninstall my spectrum app and reinstall and if fixed my issue on my Roku tv, now this morning the Samsung TV is acting the same...   Ready to go back to my previous internet provider.

I am having this same issue, but it appears to be a Spectrum issue.  I've lost local channels and am getting this error on both my Roku and my iPad.

I had the same issue with missing channels on spectrum app, it said i was not on their network so a lot of channels were blocked & could not watch.  I was on their wifi, so I called spectrum and they told me to uninstall the spectrum app and reinstall it.  That fixed the problem . .  They also they were having some issues with the app and people were missing channels.  I am missing the game show network, used to get it on the app, I have it on my cable box, can't get it anymore 😂

I love my roku , got a roku TV and 2 roku sticks.  Use the roku stick in your back room and you Don't have to pay for an extra cable box.

I am having the same issue. My Roku Tv is wire comnected to my Spectrum modem and router. But it's saying to connect to my home account to get all of the channels. I have called 2 times and they both told me they were having issues with the Spectrum Tv App. I have reset the equipment, they reset the equipment, I have removed the app and reinstalled it. None of that worked. I am going on day 3 of no Spectrum Tv through the app. I don't watch a lot of TV but I do watch some and its frustrating. I will be asking for a credit to my account.

Please make sure when removing a channel, that you restart your Roku device before adding the channel back again.

reinstalled app

still missing a lot of Spectrum channels;(
