i got rid of my tv provider and got roku for a reason.
If it was removed, there are only two reasons. One is that it wasn't an authorized streaming provider and Fox requested Roku to remove it. The other is that Fox themselves removed it. Either way it is up to Fox to offer the channel/app. Your argument is with Fox, not Roku.
A) The majority of Roku channel apps, including Fox News, are created, provided, and maintained by the originators of those channels, not Roku.
B) Fox News has not been removed. It is there for me to install under Streaming Channels -- scroll down to News and Weather. If you're in a geographical region where there is a Streaming channel search option, you should also be able to find it by a search for "Fox".
C) In the latest update to Fox's app, a provider login is required to view beyond a 10 minute preview for US viewers. From your complaint, I assume this is something new with this update. This is a decision and change made by Fox, not Roku. Fox supplies their own app, Roku just supplies the platform to run it on. Any complaints should be directed to Fox.
Very disappointing to see FNC change to Fox News Go. I literally bought my Roku, in part, to get FNC. I’m not happy with the change on now watch most FNC shows on YouTube. Shame on Fox for changing this.
You need to tell that to Fox. Roku has no control over the design and functionality of the channels offered. I am confident saying that Fox doesn't pay any attention to this forum.
