I have Prime Video but am getting charged

I just bought the Roku, set it up and it works fine.   I have Prime Video from Amazon, however, when I go to use it through the Roku it wants to charge me.  When I use it on my desktop or directly thorough the TV it works fine.  NO CHARGES.

Why am I getting charged to use Prime through the Roku?

Have you registered your Roku device to your Prime account?
In the top row of the Roku Prime screen, scroll over to "Settings". Click on "Register your device". Then follow the prompts.
  • Roku Streaming Stick +, 3810X, Ser YH0059427035, wifi LivRm - Samsung UN55ES6100
  • Roku Streaming Stick, 3600X, Ser 5S56D8240827, wifi BedRm - JVC EM37T
  • Roku 3, 4200X, Ser 4124C7087583, wifi GstRm - Sanyo DP26640
  • Roku 2 XD, 3050X (collecting dust in a drawer)

How do you know Roku is charging you?

Amazon is about as good as it gets when it comes to customer service.

So you could contact them directly.

You might also remove Prime from your Roku and reinstall and pair it again.

It does sound as if the Roku Prime app is not paired correctly.

And you already know some content on Prime is not free....???
