When I search for Roku Media Player there is NO "add channel" button. The only options are "Go to channel", "Remove Channel" and "View screenshots". Removing channel changes nothing. Channel is not hidden.
Yeah I updated and turn off and back on again, it did nothing. Ended up adding the channel on the website instead of tv. It took a couple hours but it popped up on home screen.
When you add a channel via the Roku website, the channel is added to your account. It will then be downloaded to each of the Roku devices linked to that same account when each unit does its next automatic update check. You can force an immediate uodate check via Settings > System > System update > Check now.
