My outdoor cameras have IR setup in Auto mode. The problem I have is that there is a delay from when motion is detected until the IR is turned on. Camera will record motion in the dark and by the time IR kicks on, the subject is out of view. For example, I'll see an animal cross my driveway, but I can't tell if it was a dog, a coyote, or something else. Is there anything that can be done other than setting IR to On?
