All my settings are on as they should be. But I don’t receive notifications for my doorbell cam on my watch. I have the Apple Watch 8. My husband also has an Apple Watch, his is the SE. He very very rarely receives a notification on his watch. But almost always it only alerts on our phones.
Greetings @TayLu
Welcome to the Roku Community and thanks for posting regarding using your Roku Smart Home device.
Have you verified in your mobile device settings for notifications with your Apple Watch for the Roku Smart Home mobile app? Can you please provide us with screenshots of your current settings on your mobile device?
With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further. We look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,
Danny
Yes they’re all on. Both my phone and watch. I don’t know how to post photos here. I have the screenshots. I can email them or send them some other way? In my settings on my phone, I open notifications, select smart home, allow notifications is toggled on, (Lock Screen, Notification Center, and banner) sound is on. In my watch, I go to settings, notifications, smart home is toggled on.
Hello @TayLu
Thanks for the follow up regarding not getting notifications on your Apple Watch.
If you are receiving notifications through your mobile device, it would appear that theres an issue with your Apple Watch and mobile device connections as your mobile device would be responsible for pushing notifications to your watch.
Thanks,
Danny
The thing is, I get notifications from everything else on my watch though. I can even use the Roku remote on it. I get texts, snapchat notifications, facebook notifications, phone calls, email, reminders, everything’s else. Just not Roku home. So I really don’t think that’s the problem. Also I got a new phone a few days ago, and still haven’t gotten notifications. My husband has the same problem. He’s only gotten like 2 notifications ever from Roku home. We almost always just get them on our phone. So I think it’s something with the app that may need correcting. Considering across 3 phones, and 2 watches, it still has an issue.
