Roku box keeps restarting

Hi, more and more my Roku box restarts when I'm watching something or selecting a channel. Does it need an SD card, or do I need a new box? Any ideas how to fix this?

    The device you are using can no longer support the most recent features. This means this device will no longer get new features or streaming channels, updates to existing channels, or other software-related updates. You can keep using your Roku player to stream the channels you currently have. However, you may lose access to some channels over time as those channel partners make updates. If you haven't already upgraded your device, you should have received an email with offers to purchase a new player at a discounted price. You can also access this offer by signing into your Roku account and visiting the following website here.

    • What Roku device are you using right now?
    • Is this the first time you set up/activated this Roku TV/device? If NOT, is this the first time you have experienced this issue?
    • What do you see on your screen when you’re trying to play content?
    • Is the issue happening on all contents/channels or is this isolated to 1 content/channel?
    • Are you getting any error messages or error codes when trying to play content?

      Hello, It is a Roku 2.
      In the middle of a program or starting one on any app/channel, it will freeze and restart Roku.
      It is NOT the first time I set up or activated the device.
      The trend of the restart is definitely worse recently / in 2024.
      No error messages are displaying.

        We appreciate you providing these details. We will work with you to know what went wrong so we can assist you further and fix the issue.

        Kindly perform the following steps below and see if they can resolve the issue:

        1. Using the included USB cable and USB power adaptor (if included), connect your streaming player to a working power outlet in the wall. Do not power on or plug at the back of the TV, for it may not get enough power to keep the Roku device going.
        2. Restart your network router to refresh the connection between your internet and Roku device.
        3. Restart your Roku Player. Go to Settings > System > Power (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step) > System Restart.
        4. If the issue persists, connect your Roku device to a network router (If you have one) and observe if it is still happening.
