Voice remote constantly disconnecting then reconnecting.

I have a roku streaming stick and when I'm pushing buttons on the remote it usually works the first button press then stops disconnects and 5-10 seconds later reconnects by itself and shoes the batteries on the screen. It does this every 1-3 times I press any button and it is infuriating. My roku express doesn't do this with its remote and it didn't do this when I got the stick originally. Anybody know what could be wrong? Do I just need a new remote?

    Could you try re-pairing your remote to your Roku device and see if that will resolve the issue you're experiencing? We recommend doing basic troubleshooting steps on that Roku remote and checking if these steps would resolve this issue: How to set up your Roku voice remote

    We would be more than happy to assist you. Can you please provide the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About?

      Hi Roku Team,

      I'm having the same issue. Voice remote unpairing itself several times a week even with brand new batteries. I have not been able to find a solution to prevent the disconnect between the remote and Roku device.

      REMOTE Model RC539 Firmware version 2.01.19.108.

      Roku express serial number YG00DG662048.

      Software version 11.5.0 build 6040-51
