I just the same exact thing happen! Same scenario...Samsung TV...wireless receiver cable in the upright position and flops downward...broke off at the stress point into the steaming stick. I prefer to use my Roku remote over the Samusung remote that comes with the TV.
What’s the remedy?

to all the people posting on this thread: clearly the product is defective. roku will not send a replacement. vote with your feet, discard your roku, and go to another provider that stands behind its products. roku will die in the marketplace. it cannot compete with the likes of apple, google, and amazon.

Lack of support and transparency from Roku is really frustrating. I had a faulty remote and had to replace the battery every 5-7 days. Luckily then Roku obliged and sent a replacement.
What's frustrating is that #ROKU was aware of the issue for months and didn't proactively reach out to it's customers. They knew the period of manufacture and possibly batch numbers too, just decided to not act properly.
