My Roku Power Stick Plus cable also stopped working. Won't consistently deliver power to stick no matter what the power source. Using another mini USB cable delivers power fine, but then no WiFi signal because the antenna is not present. Just bought this and first time trying Roku, so unhappy. May have to go back to Fire Stick . . . .
My Roku's sn is 22513A484124

I'm having the same problem listed here - device powers fine with a different cable but included cable with long-range wireless receiver stopped functioning due to its stress point from dangling freely and bending over on itself to draw power from TV's USB as cable isn't long enough to reach the wall outlet. As such there's no way to communicate with the device. I'd like a replacement cable (long-range wireless receiver usb power cord).
Here are my device details:
Roku Streaming Stick+
SN#: 213021839303
Model#: 3810X
Thank you,

Just opened the box from BestBuy. I am having the same trouble with the wifi / usb cord. The connection from the stick to the cable seems loose. The light stays solid a bit then blinks. It worked for a few minutes then then the error came onto screen that I should plug the cable directly into power (low power). Well it was always directly plugged into the extender cord, into the power strip. I just need a new cord from the stick input thru the wifi receiver ending with the usb that goes into extender cord. Approx. 15" long. S/N 213986760158 I cannot find this replacement part anywhere. I should not have to pay extra either. Thanks for your prompt attention in this matter.

Cannot find a replacement USB Power cable with long-range wireless receiver. Roku website says out of stock and I cannot find one anywhere.
The end that plugs into the stick is super loose/broke.

Same issue here with the long range wifi power cable. Roku cable was definitely defective. Broke without applying any pressure to it. Would love for Roku to make this right, especially considering you cannot even purchase the replacement part.

seems I'm having the same issue. at first, I wondered why my remote didn't work, reset my stick, record my router, all done multiple times, still nothing. finally figured it was the wireless receiver. I just replaced my previous stick less than a year ago and now this. doesn't make sense. please help.

Danny- bessfriend4 years agoChannel SurferI am unable to get the information by your directions because the remote won't connect with the stick because the wireless recurve doesn't work so I can't get it to work at all without that connection. I am able to get the info directly from the physical stick itself though.
the stick is a 4K+

I was lucky enough to purchase from Best Buy. They exchanged the defective one, and the new one works. Time will tell how long it will last.
