5TB HD works fine but...

Why is the stinkin' thing spinning 24 hours a day?

Roku media player closed, just watching live tv (cable).

Horrible wear and tear with the drive warm, spinning endlessly. I shouldn't have to unplug/plug it in each time I want to access it to prevent this.
