Does this issue occur on a specific channel? No
What are the steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing?
Steps to reproduce: example #1
(1) turn on the TV
(2) navigate to "Live TV" & select
(3) immediately upon entering into the guide the focus of the guide is on the "Recents" category.
(4) Tracker ID SP-370-087
Steps to reproduce: example #2
(1) While watching streaming channel #293
(2) Navigate 'left' to display the guide
(3) The guide takes the user to "Recents"
(4) Tracker ID SP-370-085
Issue: The user in these examples is watching streaming channel #293. When calling up the guide the user is being taken automatically to the "Recents" category. If the user decided to review the guide, perhaps looking for an upcoming show, somewhere near #300 thru #350 (as an example) this would be the navigation...
(1) While watching #293
(2) Navigate 'left' to display the guide
(3) From the "Recents" category
(4) Navigate to "All Channels" or "Favorites"
(5) The guide starts at the lowest channel number "3.1"
(6) The user must scroll down through the guide all the way to #300, 301, 302, etc.
This is unacceptable navigation. As you can imagine the guide is very very long and going from "3.1" to "300" is an extreme amount of navigation by the user.
Expected behavior:
(1) The user while watching ANY channel
(2) Navigate 'left' to display the guide
(3) The guide should focus on the currently selected channel number
(The corresponding category MAY be highlighted to also represent where the user was in the guide as an aid to navigation.)
(4) The user should be able to navigate up and down the guide to review what is offered on other adjacent channels.
(The user MAY choose to further navigate onto the category column to work with the guide via a chosen category.)
Simply put the guide should be working as it did prior to the most recent update.
This should be considered a critical fix.
