TCL Roku TV app defaulted to older software from Roku Ultra.

When I watched a show on TCL TV via Roku app, I could skip the intro via a text box that would pop up, and the next episode would start a few seconds after the current one ended.

A few days later I used Roku app on the older Roku Ultra in my bedroom, and the software didn't have the skip intro or auto start next episode. The next day I went to watch a show on the TCL TV and it defaulted to the older software from the Ultra.

How do I reset the software on the Roku app to the default one from the TCL TV from before?
